Not promoting anything here, but thanks to a cool promotion at Blockbuster, I've got unlimited free rentals until the beginning of next month. And, I'm using this opportunity to watch all the movies I've missed over the last year and change.

Buried
Ryan Reynolds needed an Oscar nod beside James Franco. These two were spectacular at carrying their respective films. These two performances took me back to seeing Will Smith in I Am Legend, giving a solo performance that was mesmerizing. You cannot look away, even if there is only the individual in frame.
Director Rodrigo Cortes did an astonishing job. I hope he gets to play with bigger toys on his next film, because the guy has some chops. I mean, seriously, fucking-a.
Lets, of course, not forget about the script. Bravo, Chris Sparling. You wrote something special.
A great film. One not to be missed. Blah, blah, blah. Just see it. (5 out of 5)
