What else needs to be said? It's a good movie. Based on a great story from the great Grant Morrison and the great Frank Quietly.

Having just seen Sam Liu and Dwayne McDuffie's adaptation, I want to revisit the story again. Hell, I'm seriously considering putting up cash for that Absolute edition. Looks gorgeous.

Like most adaptations, one is simply better off reading the source material. But, unlike a lot of adaptations, this one translated pretty well. I Rebox-ed it. But, I'm probably going to own this title by the end of the year.

Stuff I Liked Today...7/27

Oh, and I loved Cop Out. Sure as shit wasn't a great movie, but by the time I heard Harold Faltermeyer's score, I knew I was in for a special little homage. If you didn't like the film, you probably missed the point, or have a very different sense of humor than me. Bring on the dick and fart jokes. Sometimes, that's good enough to make me laugh.

Go to Barnes & Noble RIGHT NOW and buy some Criterions! I picked up Brazil, The Seventh Seal, The 400 Blows, and Fanny & Alexander.

Inception was simply amazing. I will argue with anyone who has a problem with it. Great fucking movie. Longer review to come.
